Uses of Vessel Dished Heads

Vessel dished head is an indispensable and important part of pressure vessel equipment in many industries from petrochemical, atomic energy to food and pharmaceutical.

The vessel dished head is the end cap on the pressure vessel and is a major pressure-bearing part of the pressure vessel. The role played is that of sealing. Firstly, it is made into the upper and lower bottom of the tank-shaped pressure vessel, secondly, when the pipe reaches the head and is not ready to extend forward, a head is used to seal the pipe in the form of welding. Products with similar functions as heads are blind plates and pipe caps, but these two products can be dismantled. But these two products can be disassembled, whereas a head cannot be disassembled after it has been welded. The fittings used with them are pressure vessels, pipes, flanges, elbows, tees, crosses and other products.
